I really can't figure out how this place has so many stars.

The customer support here is just awful. I waited a couple of days for a reply to my email, and honestly, I never heard back about my last one.

I ordered an item that was supposedly in stock (lead time) according to the prolighting site, but I ended up waiting three weeks before it finally shipped.

And don't even get me started on the restock fee! I bought the wrong position light bulb because the description was super confusing. I only realized my mistake when the package arrived. I never even opened the bulb box. Now, I have to pay for delivery, which is fine, but then there's a 25% restock fee! It's just not worth it to send it back since the refund would be next to nothing.

I’m done ordering from this place and definitely won’t be recommending it to my friends.

I've bought from them a bunch of times. This business is top-notch for both commercial and home LED lighting requirements. They offer a broad selection of quality items and are super quick to respond through chat and email whenever I need assistance. They even went out of their way to custom order some bulbs for me that were hard to track down. Overall, a fantastic experience with reasonable prices, just excellent all around.

Due to supply problems (Chinese flu) there was a delay from the manufacturer but ProLighting kept me informed and I got my lights without too much delay.

The catalog had some products misidentified, like strip lights that just wouldn’t connect to create a proper strip. The shipping costs are steep and it takes ages. Plus, customer service didn’t fix the messed-up order.

ProLighting was the ONLY source that provided the emergency lights I was looking for. They shipped it right on time, just like they said they would. Their customer service is top-notch - Professional, Polite, and Patient.

I bought ten of these LED step lights thinking they'd last a lifetime. Well, five of them quit on me in just two years. I managed to fix all but three by swapping out faulty transformers and LEDs. Turns out, the warranty is pretty much worthless. Those repair kits are $65 a pop! Do yourself a favor and shop for your lighting elsewhere.

Prolighting is a legitimate business, not just another website like some of those other lighting retailers that seem to pop up outta nowhere. I did my homework before making a purchase since I had a rough time with a different 'company' that had zero customer support and no dependable shipping. It was basically just a website. Lesson learned, right?

It's wild that in this day and age, Prolighting hits you with a 10% fee for restocking. I messed up and got the wrong size lights, sent 'em back without even opening the box. Ended up costing me $32 to ship it back and then another $62 for the restocking. Do yourself a favor, save both time and cash, and just order from Amazon!

The emergency light arrived quickly. It performs wonderfully. The instructions could use some improvement; they ought to be clearer to help folks figure out which wires to hook up for the battery.
